Hello! I'm Hibiscus (Hib for short), a digital artist from New York. I've been drawing since I was 10, but I've loved art all my life. I primarily make art for my own original characters, as well as fanart. I am an iPad artist, and I use Autodesk Sketchbook + an apple pencil. Recently I've been using a Cintiq drawing tablet + Krita, but I'm still very new to it. I'm a college student & I plan on getting my masters in Evolutionary Biology after I finish undergrad.Themed my carrd after Nahida cause she's just like me fr #kin :3

NORTH STAR
A high-fantasy story spanning 5 years, detailing the efforts of divinely gifted heroes as they try to go about their life.
What is it about?
A god’s power, when used on the mortal plane, is much too powerful when unfiltered. To be able to safely use their powers, the gods must channel their power through mortals (called paladins) who are given a small piece of the god’s soul. The five main characters of North Star are all paladins, heroes chosen by the gods.Setting
The main cast live in the kingdom of Nivis. While Nivis used to be warmer, 500 years ago, the outerlands were frozen by its main god, Neiva. After exerting so much energy to protect Nivis from forces which have sincr been lost to history, Neiva has remained asleep until now.
The Northern section is cold and mountainous, the middle of the country is temperate, and the lower region is warmer, as it borders on the sea.
Nivis primarily takes its inspirations from Italy & Rome, but also from archetypical medieval fantasy aesthetics.Origins
North Star was initially a Warrior cats fan clan story of mine titled Silverecho's Freefall. After a few years, I felt as if the story was better off keeping to their human au, and thus North star was born. This story is a huge work in progress, often with key elements still changing.
